MONTREAL EVENT INSPIRATION MAGAZINE ONLINE

On March 29th, 2019, the Bulgarians & Red Carpet Gala of Quebec Lung Association (QLA) took place at the Parquet of Jacques Parizeau Building. The concept of this charity event that occurs every year since 2011 is to create a spring gathering combining fashion show of renowned Quebec creators in aid of the Lung Association of Quebec.

Spokesperson and humorist Anthony Kavanagh was the host of the evening. This year’s co-presidents honors were Louis L. Roquet, Chancellor of the Université de Montréal and Corporate Director, Jessica Harnois, Sommelier and President of Vins au féminin. The Director of the association, Dominique Massie, and her team have done, once again, an admirable job and impressed us with their generosity.

To end the evening, the prestigious fashion show under the artistic direction of renowned Hans Koechling, presented the latest couture collections of 15 Quebec designers:

The Quebec Lung Association’s mission is to improve education, promote respiratory health and prevent lung diseases. The association also offers services to people with Alzheimer’s disease, accompanies  their loved ones and supports research. Nearly 900,000 Quebecers have one of the four most common respiratory diseases; asthma, lung cancer, COPD (emphysema and chronic bronchitis) and sleep apnea. Chronic respiratory diseases, such as asthma and COPD, are the fourth leading causes of death in Quebec, and these are the reasons for which the organization offers services on more than 77 respiratory health issues.
